Southern Ontario Military Muster
Aug 14, 2010 to Aug 15, 2010 - The Southern Ontario Military Muster is a Living History event designed to bring to life the various eras of our military past. With re-enactors from 1812 and earlier up to and including Canada’s present day military. You will be able to view, experience and handle the tools used by generations before us to preserve our freedoms. There will be dozens of military vehicles and pieces of equipment. Tactical and weapons displays will lend an insight to what our forefathers experienced. There will be a 40’s dance on Saturday night $15.00 / person with swing music of that period along with many displays, information booths and an active flea market reflecting the military theme of the event. Come out and see the museum, have a lunch at the 50’s diner, see the encampments, experience the sights and sounds of tanks and armoured vehicles rolling by. This will truly be an experience for all the senses. Visit www.militarymuster.org and the host of this event The Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village www.ctmhv.com
