Lunchtime Wisdom with Johannes Linstead
Oct 10, 2009 - After listening to Johannes Linstead’s impassioned and soul-stirring Latin guitar and World music year-after-year at Festival Epicure, the Windsor-Essex community will have an opportunity to get ’upfront and personal’ with this multi-talented, award-winning artist at a special fundraiser.
Johannes will deliver an inspiring presentation about finding balance and harmony among work, life and spirituality at a private gathering at the Windsor Club overlooking the panoramic view of the city and the spectacular Detroit skyline. Johannes will also entertain participants with his live performance, accompanied by local musician, Mario Catanzaro, virtuoso classical and jazz guitarist. The $40 ticket price includes a selection of appetizers and a copy of Linstead’s book, “Buddha in a Business Suit”. A book-signing segment will also be part of this unique get-together.
During his journeys, witnessing the different, many times underprivileged, lifestyles of people and children, motivates Linstead to become part of the October 10th fundraising event. Proceeds will benefit in part the Herbie Fund, www.herbiefund.com.
