Veteran Appreciation Day
Jul 7, 2009 - The VAD project is co-sponsored by the Government of Ontario and the Dominion Institute. It is a celebration of veterans and their contributions to their communities. This is the inaugural event for 2009, one of eight cities chosen by the Province to host the VAD. All are welcome to attend; event will last two hours with a reception following at the Windsor Armouries. All citizens, and especially youth, are encouraged to attend and show their support for local veterans.
