OutWrite Summer Camp
Jul 13, 2009 to Aug 28, 2009 - This camp is designed for kids from 9-14 who are interested in writing, but either need some assistance getting to the level at which they want to be, or want to explore something new. Each weekly session will have an exciting theme that will introduce campers into a specific writing genre. Campers will be split into two age groups: ages 9 to 11 will make their own books with their own illustrations and covers. Meanwhile, the 12 to 14 age group will contribute to their group’s anthology of writing. Each 12-14 camper will get the chance to design their own page, pick their fonts and illustrations and get their own copy of the book at the end of the session. At the end of the week, all the campers will have the chance to read their work in front of their parents and peers!
Hours: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Friday
