Fashion Fights Polio: A Night of Enchantment

Mar 19, 2009 - On March 19th the Rotaract Club of Windsor (1918) will be holding a charity fashion show at the University of Windsor. The night will feature a fashion show, appetizers and 50/50 raffle. The event is black tie.

We invite you to be part of this grand event by purchasing a ticket to the show. Your contribution will help Rotary match a $100 million challenge grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The resulting $200 million will directly support immunization campaigns in developing countries, where polio continues to infect and paralyze children, robbing them of their futures and compounding the hardships faced by their families.

As long as polio threatens even one child anywhere in the world, children everywhere remain at risk. The stakes are that high. The show itself will be a formal fashion show and will involve the support of not only students but many from the community.

Hours: 7pm-midnight
Cost: $25.00

Venue: Ambassador Auditorium (Student Centre, University of Windsor. 2nd Flr), Windsor
