An Evening of Heart and Enchantment
Feb 13, 2009 - To commemorate heart month the Windsor-Essex Cardiac Wellness Centre presents an “Evening of Heart and Enchantment”, one hundred percent of the proceeds will go towards the Windsor-Essex Cardiac Wellness Centre to help local residents living with heart disease.
The 5 course heart-healthy dinner will be followed by a fashion show that will highlight the staff, doctors, and participants of the Cardiac Wellness Centre. Clothing from local boutiques will be featured. The silent auction will have a “Health & Wellness” theme, featuring an array of items that stimulate the senses - touch, taste, sight, smell or sound. Whether it is an elegant and tasteful dinner, a therapeutic massage, or eye-catching artwork, the possibilities are endless!
The whole event’s focus is to raise money to support heart patients locally. The CWC is a medically managed, multidisciplinary cardiac rehabilitation program that enrolls over 500 participants each year. Continued community support ensures funds for new equipment and resources needed to provide quality care for residents of Windsor-Essex County who have had a recent cardiac event. Help us achieve our goal!
