A Gala for the Garden of Rarities
Feb 26, 2009 - Join in this fundraiser to help protect Ojibway! The Ojibway Prairie hosts more rare species than any other provincial park, more than 91 species at risk live here. It represents one of the most endangered ecosystems in Canada. Currently, there is a big box development that threatens this jewel. Funds are needed to pay expert witnesses to provide the scientific evidence to “prove” that the big box will have a negative impact.
Ticket price includes appetizers, a glass of champagne, Jackie Robatielle (pianist), and a terrific silent auction for birthday/anniversay presents.
