CP Rail Holiday Train
Dec 3, 2008 - Our 10th Anniversary Holiday Train will visit over 100 communities in seven states and six provinces to raise food, money and awareness for local food banks . Bring your cash and food donations and support your local food bank. To date, we’ve raised $3 million dollars and 1.6 million pounds of food.
In Southern Ontario, the U.S. Holiday Train will embark on its journey December 1 in Hamilton finishing December 3 in Windsor, Ontario where it continues on to the U.S. Midwest.
Entertainers on this train include Shaun Verreault, best known as the virtuosic singer/guitarist/song-writer for blues-rockers and Canadian live favourites Wide Mouth Mason, and Juno award-winning singer and songwriter Melanie Doane.
