Sunday Remembrance Service & Concert
Nov 9, 2008 - 2008 marks the 90th Anniversary of the end of World War I and the establishment of Armistice Day, now known as Remembrance Day (November 11th). Branches of the Royal Canadian Legion hold their annual Sunday Remembrance service today at the cenotaph at 2:00pm and this evening, the Windsor Classic Chorale will perform their “In Remembrance” concert at the old Armouries located on University Avenue at 7:30pm.
