October 19-Family Fun Poker Walk
Work off your Thanksgiving dinner! St. Simon and St. Jude Parish invites you to play a hand of poker as you pick up your cards at various locations throughout the Town of Belle River. Children will play “Go Fish” or “Word Scramble”. Cost is $10/adult and $5/child. Registration at St. Simon and St. Jude Hall, 267 Meunier St., Belle River from 12:30-1pm. Walk, scoot, bike, roll or drive from 1-2:30pm. First prize wins $250, second $100 and third $50. Children win a toy or gift certificate.
