September 12 - 14, 2008 - Olde Sandwich Towne is celebrating it’s 19th Annual Arts and Heritage Festival!
For Children: Parade, crafts, games, food, art and talent contests, spelling bee, finger printing, clown services, interactive art, magic show, heritage colouring book.
For Community: Sidewalk/garage sales, bake sales, vendors/exhibitors.
Entertainment: Live bands, Ecumenical service, live theatre, open mic, talent show, fireworks, parade program, Gala dinner.
Historical: Antique boat/car exhibition, Towne Crier, First Nations singers, dancers & drummers, Ghost Tour, Steam & Gas Engine Museum, Duff-Baby House tour, Heritage bus tours, McGregor Cowan House Tour, Medieval Village; Underground Railroad reenactment; War of 1812 reenactments, Kersey Homestead and a number of authentic campsites depicting history.
Food: 7 local restaurants, breakfast and tea specials, chili and sandwich contests, Gala dinner.
